What can I say? I will be the first to admit that I...Lev, am addicted to my computer! If something goes wrong, or I can access things the way I want, or something tends to not work right, this Christian has a hard time passing the 'cuss test', as Lee's cousin, Mike, would say...lol

About 5 years ago, our middle son, Landon, turning 18, but still living at home, and trying to show his "I'm an adult now", attitude, "I don't have to have permission from my parents to do anything".... responded to an add onTV, and ordered his own, computer from Gateway. Next thing I know, a computer is showing up on my doorstep, and Landon informs me it is his. Well, at his age...as he guessed, I couldn't really say much. He had a full time job, so I figured he had to start somewhere. As it turns out... to this day, he never has gotten the puter paid for...still receiving bills, and doesn't even have it anymore to boot. I guess, just one of those lessons that you chalk up to mistakes of youth. When this computer came into my home, I could no more find my way around a computer than NOTHIN'! I would "freak" if more than one brouser page popped up at a time...I had no idea how to get back to the page I'd been at before. I was what you could call COMPLETELY COMPUTER ILLITERATE!!! I had heard of all the neet and cool things you could do on one, and always thought about how great it would be to be able and access so much STUFF! lol

Well, Landon slowly started showing me the way around the puter. It wasn't really as difficult as I had preceived. hahahaha Then, I got introduced to "chat rooms".....WOW...this was great! My biggest interest being Chrisitianity, and music, I found myself in chat room with these discussions. I began making friends in various rooms, that soon introduced me to Yahoo Groups. BOY...this is where I got hooked. Most of the groups that I got involved with were women only Christian groups. It didn't take me long to realize that there were also guys that I'd met, that would enjoy the groups, so I started my own, my first, MJesusE: Jesus In Me. All the people I had met online and become friends with, were Christians, and I had several of them join right in to the group. Now, I have several Yahoo Groups, as well as some on MSN. The links to these are included on Lev's Notes, home page. I would love to have any of you as members.

I discovered how to do webpages through Yahoo Geocities, and did I have fun with this! I had so many picutres and gifs in my files at one point, that it was takin' almost all my disc space...lol Of course, I needed all of these to continue making my pages. I did finally realize at one point, that I was probably going just a little overvoard on the web page construction. So, I kept the ones that were my favorites, and deleted the rest. I hated to do it, but needed the space. I have made a few more since then, some of which I've shared on my blog homepage, Lev's Notes. I do hope you'll take the time to visit them.

Each and everyday that I spend on this computer, I learn more and more about it, and how it works. Each and everyday that I spend on this computer, I meet more and more wonderful and loving people to share my life with. People from all over the world whom I've grown to love as brothers and sisters...as friends. From all across the United States, to the shore of Great Britian, Wales, Australia, Brazil, and Canada...these people have touched my lives.

From the time I first got on this box...it amazed me how I could begin to feel like I did towards people I'd never met, and for the most part had never even seen a picture of. How could I really "know" these people. There were so many stories of fraud, and decption on the internet, and I know that there still are, and always will be, but I have been so fortunate to find honest, loving, caring, and for the most part God loving people here, that it has amazed me. But, somehow, when you encounter truely loving people...it seems to show through, even in this typed word.

Over the years I have met people that have so touched my life... CJ, Tracie, Scott, Cherokee Girl, Kentucky Girl, Michelle, Bella, Kerri, Deb...some of these people I haven't even talked to in several months...some years, but they are those who have impacted my life, and I think of them often. I know how much they've touched my life...I only hope that I have touched theirs in halfs as much a way, as they have mine.

So...you see what this puter has done for me. Chances are, if you ever want to find me, and can't...this is where I'll be.
